The Planning Commission advises the City Council on land use policies and plans, and to make recommendations to the City Council related to development activities. Commission members have the powers and duties given planning agencies as provided in Minnesota Statutes 462.351-462.364. The Commission also exercises the duties conferred upon it by the City Code including the Zoning Ordinance and by the Council.

The Planning Commission meets at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the third Thursday of each month. The Planning Commission meetings are open to the public and available to view on the Credit River YouTube channel. Minutes and Agendas are available online.
