Administration
The Administration department operates the day-to-day operations of the City. This includes implementation of policy set by the Mayor and Council. The department is led by the City Administrator and includes the City Clerk.
City Administrator
The City Administrator is accountable to the Council for effective administration of City business. The Administrator oversees the day-to-day operations.
City Clerk
The City Clerk is responsible for administering elections, maintaining official records, and issuing permits and licenses.
Data Practices Request
The Minnesota Government Data Practices Act (MGDPA), Minn. Stat. § 13, is a state law that controls how government data are collected, created, stored, used, and released. The MGDPA sets out certain requirements relating to the right of the public to access government data and the rights of individuals who are the subjects of government data. The actual text of Minn. Stat. § 13, and Minn. R. 1205, the Rules Governing Data Practices as promulgated by the Minnesota Department of Administration, can be found online.
